WHY ARE POP-ITS GREAT GIFTS FOR KIDS?
Originally used as sensory toys for children seeking sensory input, pop-its became a viral sensation in 2021 thanks to a TikTok video and are no longer limited to sensory stores. Pop-its are sensory shapes, bracelets or keyrings made from silicone which have flexible poppable bubbles that can be indented {popped} and then can be flipped over and indented again from the other side.
With bright colours, a smooth silicone surface and a gratifying pop sound as the bubbles are popped, they provide visual, tactile and auditory sensory input. They also help build concentration and hand/eye co-ordination as children have to make sure they line their fingers up properly to pop the bubbles. Pushing the bubbles down to make them pop also builds finger muscles which are essential pre-writing fine motor skills.

Pop-it fidgets can be found at most dollar stores or department stores and can be purchased in even cheaper in bulk on Amazon, Amazon AU or Etsy. The free printable labels can be used with mini pop its, pop it keyrings or full size pop its.
HOW TO MAKE VALENTINE'S DAY POP IT CLASS GIFTS
1. Download labels and print. I recommend printing them onto white cardstock as it's sturdier, however you could print them on paper and then laminate them. Print as many pages as you need.
2. Cut out individual labels. If you have lots of labels to make you may find it easier and quicker to use a paper trimmer.
3. Hole punch holes into the labels.
4. Add your child's name to each label where it says from. If they can write their name get them to do it as a personal touch {they may have to do this in a few sessions if you have lots of gifts to make}.
5. Attach a label to each pop it. If you're using pop it keyrings you can thread the ring or clip straight through the hole. If you're using full size pop it's either tie the label on with string, or put them inside a cellophane bag and attach the label to the bag.
